Getting Started
Head to the Box Office on Division St near Cheech’s Own Coffee Company. Here is where you’ll be able to:
- Pickup pre-purchased passes and tickets.
- Purchase tickets for screenings and features for the day.
- Receive your drink wristbands alcoholic beverages.
- Grab an event program and purchase Ville Film Fest merchandise!
All-Access Promotions
With all-access passes, attendees also have the opportunity to redeem exclusive promotions from businesses on Division St, including:
- Cheech’s Own: 10% off beverages

Your program will serve as your screening schedule, making it simple for you to learn more about our films and where to find them.
Division Street Takeover
It’s a Ville Fest takeover on Saturday as we transform Division Street into the center of the film festival. After checking in, head over to our Step & Repeat for a photo op before exploring our street vendors and entertainment.
Food & Drink
We’re lucky enough to have some amazing food vendors including local businesses including:
- Turf, Surf & Earth
- Division Cafe
- DeMartino’s
For our patrons 21 and older, Verve will be hosting a beer/wine garden right on Division St, along with exclusive cocktails being offered within Cheech’s Own Coffee Company.
Entertainment
Throughout the day we will have a variety of musicians taking over the Division St Summer Stage.
Saturday’s Lineup
12pm to 1pm – Anaphylactic Shok

4pm to 5pm – LOOMS
6pm to 7:30pm – Tam Garcia
At Cheech's Own...
While the cafe will still be open as normal it will also serve as the filmmaker hub, giving attendees the chance to meet and interact with the creative minds that have traveled to screen their work.
Throughout the day, Verve will also be using the back of Cheech’s Own to sell and serve exclusive cocktails for the film festival. As the day winds down, Cheech’s Own will be hosting a comedy/poetry show at 7:30pm.

Founders of Cheech’s Own Coffee Company created “Ville Film Festival” to make Somerville a focal point for fine arts and tourism.

Inaugural Gala for Ville Film Festival to be Hosted at Village Brewing Company in Somerville
On Thursday, August 8th, Ville Fest Inc. will host a fundraising gala open to the public at Village Brewing Company. This fundraising event is in efforts to raise money for the inaugural Ville Film Fest on October 5, 2019. Accompanying exceptional drinks and food will be a raffle offering amazing prizes from local businesses.

Somerville film festival to raise funds with Aug. 8 gala at brewery
Seems like every downtown in Central Jersey wants to have its own film festival.
Somerville is the latest of the bunch with Ville Fest coming in October. To raise funds for it, the nonprofit Ville Fest Inc. is throwing a gala on Aug. 8 at Village Brewing Co., a hot new spot downtown.
